Teacher Hired In New District After Alleged Sexual Relationship With Student In Westchester A Hudson Valley school district is defending its decision to hire a teacher who allegedly sexually assaulted a student in another district just days before a civil suit was filed.  The lawsuit accuses the former teacher in Northern Westchester of grooming a then 16-year-old student at Walter Panas High School in Cortlandt to have sexual relations on school grounds.
