Guerriero in Military, Answers Five Questions

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – Stationed in Texas, former Tuckahoe football player Sal Guerriero, Class of 2006, will be spending the holidays away from home but has fond memories of family, food and football.

U.S. Army A1C Guerriero, who has been deployed in Afghanistan during his four years in the service and was a member of the Tuckahoe Class D state football championship team in 2006, answer five questions.

Will you be home for the holidays?

No. I’d love to be home but I’m going to be at McDyess Air Force Base.

What's the thing you remember most about Christmas?

I remember just being with my family and having a good time. I also remember heading to my grandparents’ house and having an Italian feast.

Will you watch sports during the holiday?

Of course anything to do with football, the New York Giants mainly.

Which games will you watch?

Since I am hardly home I always represent all New York teams.

How will you celebrate the holidays?

I’ll be in Texas for Christmas. I usually try to spend it with family if I can get home.
