Scarsdale 'Pot Mom' Sentenced To Time Served

SCARSDALE, N.Y. - After extensive plea negotiations, Scarsdale “Pot Mom” Andrea Sanderlin has been sentenced to time served for her role in allegedly running a multi-million dollar marijuana drug ring out of a Queens warehouse.

According to a New York Daily News report, Sanderlin was sentenced in Brooklyn Federal Court on Tuesday after allegedly assisting the federal government to crack down against marijuana growers in the states.

Before being busted in 2013, Sanderlin rented a four-bedroom, five-bathroom home on Saxon Woods Road in Scarsdale, where she routinely kept large amounts of cash and books on money laundering and growing marijuana, police said at the time of her arrest.

The Drug Enforcement Agency caught wind of Sanderlin’s quiet operation after her friend and fellow village resident Stephen Haberstroh was busted as part of a different drug-ring earlier that year. The report states that she was prepared to testify against Haberstroh, the ringleader, who has pleaded guilty and is serving time in prison.
