Ware was sentenced at the Wayne County Courthouse in Pennsylvania.
In July, Ware pled guilty to three counts of involuntary manslaughter and three counts of reckless endangerment for letting his daughter drive his car, even though she was 15 at the time of the accident. Three teenage boys died in the accident.
Ware had faced up to 21 years in prison and a $45,000 fine.
Judge Ray Hammil told Ware his actions were "preventable, irresponsible, reckless, stupid and selfish."
Joseph Keffer, the father of Cullen Keffer, one of the victims, told Ware that he hated him.
Shamus Digney and Ryan Lesher were also killed in the accident.
Ware's daughter, a 16-year-old Pleasantville resident, was sentenced in May to probation and community service. She was also ordered to write letters of apology and pay thousands in restitution.
