TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – John A. Puz, 84, of Tuckahoe, died peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 12.
He was a beloved husband of Arline Marrone Puz, loving father to Richard J. Puz (and his wife, Monica Berndt), Mary Jo Gaio (and her husband, Michael), Christine Klerer (and her husband, Robert) and Toni Reamer (and her husband, David).
John was also a cherished grandfather to Nicholas Puz (and his wife, Sonali), Courtney, Jacob and Sam Reamer, Melanie and Francesca Klerer; and great-grandfather to Aanya and Surina Puz.
He graduated from Columbia College and Columbia Business School, serving in the U.S. Army from 1953-61 and becoming a controller for Jaguar Cars.
The family will receive friends at the Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester on Friday, Feb. 13, from 4-8 p.m. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe.
In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
