TUCKAHOE, N.Y. - Alexander Guarino of Tuckahoe died May 30. He was 85.
Guarino was born Sept. 20, 1927, to Peter and Francesca Guarino in Ponza, Italy. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Homelite Chainsaws, Conn.
Guarino is survived by his daughter, Vitoria Guarino; sisters, Camille Calabrese and Rosamarie Paesano; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Clara Guarino; brother, Vincent Guarino; and brothers-in-law, Sal Calabrese and Tony Paesano.
