The annual Tuckahoe Police Community Day, which has been a staple in the area for more than a decade, is Saturday, as is the season-opening bout of the Suburbia Roller Derby. Friday, June 15
Fitwalk summer launch party: 9:15 to 11 a.m. Fitwalk is a traveling boot camp for women who share a mission to get healthy, fit and fight against a sedentary life. The workout program is designed to improve overall fitness levels and well-being. There are several classes a week. Fitwalk is kicking off the summer with a launch party. Tickets are $20. 1 Lake Ave., Tuckahoe.
Coffeehouse Series: 8 to 11 p.m. The Bronxville Womens Club invites everyone to the final Coffeehouse event of the 2011-12 season. The Balint Duo will be performing. They are a husband-and-wife team featuring Sandor Balint on the violin and Joyce Rasmussen Balint playing the violin and mandolin. The evening will also feature performances by Kama Linden, John Moroski and Maria Luger. 135 Midland Ave., Bronxville.

Tuckahoe Police Community Day: The annual event is held at the Parkway Oval. It allows residents to interact with police officers in a friendly, enjoyable atmosphere. Parkway Oval, Tuckahoe.
Roller Derby: 7 p.m. Suburbia Roller Derby kicks off the summer season with a rematch between the Botoxic Avengers and the 2011 Championship-winning Country Clubbers. The Avengers are out for blood, but the Clubbers are sharpening their nails for the fight. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the bout starts at 7 p.m. at the EJ Murray Memorial Skating Center. Sunday Worship Service: 10 a.m. Saint Lukes Episcopal Church is having a Holy Eucharist followed by a coffee hour. 98 Stewart Ave., Eastchester.
