Valhalla resident Christian Rosa and White Plains resident Damien Williams have been sentenced in Westchester County Court in connection to a string of burglaries in the area that were reported last year.

Rosa pleaded guilty to six counts of burglary, all felonies, and received 14 years in state prison for each, which will run concurrently. Williams was sentenced to two one-year terms after pleading guilty to two counts of attempted burglary.

A third man, Vincent Cuccurullo, of White Plains, was sentenced in October last year to nine years in state prison for helping Rosa during a burglary in Scarsdale.

Between Jan. 22 and Feb. 21 last year, Rosa burglarized multiple homes in Mount Pleasant, Eastchester, New Rochelle, and Scarsdale. Williams was involved with Rosa in the New Rochelle and Mount Pleasant burglaries.

Westchester County District Attorney said that Rosa and Williams committed burglaries of homes throughout Westchester during the day while the homeowners were out of the house. They forced entry into the homes and stole numerous items including jewelry, coins, and credit cards. They were arrested Feb. 21 last year.

“Rosa and Williams committed burglaries of homes throughout Westchester during the day when the homeowners were out of the house,” Scarpino said at the time the three men were indicted. “They forced entry into the homes and stole numerous items including jewelry, coins, and credit cards. In addition, from a home in New Rochelle, Rosa and Williams are charged with stealing a handgun during the course of the burglary.”
