Larcenies Highlight Tuckahoe Police Blotter

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – A pair of thefts from motor vehicles Monday topped the week for the Tuckahoe Police Department.

Police received a complaint at 2:44 p.m. Monday that a briefcase containing a checkbook had been stolen from a car at 64 Main St. Then, at 10:44 p.m., a delivery driver told police someone had stolen bread from his truck at 118 Main St.

Suspicious: A suspicious person was reported at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 30 block of Maynard Street.

Disturbances: Disturbances were reported at 11:01 p.m. Thursday at 10 Fisher Ave; at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday at 388 Columbus Ave.; and at 4:51 p.m. Friday on Main Street.

Code violations: A leaf blower violation was reported at 1:12 p.m. Sunday at 42 Pleasant Place, and a garbage violation – putting out trash of old rugs too far in advance of pickup – was reported at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at 5 Circle Road.

The boot: A traffic ticket scofflaw's car was immobilized on Westview Avenue.
