WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. Some lanes on the Hutchinson River Parkway will be closed Saturday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. due to road maintenance, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) advised.
NYSDOT will be conducting alternate lane closures, northbound and southbound, between Exit 7 (US Route 1/Boston Post Road) and Exit 6 (1-95), according a press release.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers, NYSDOT said. The press release reminds drivers that fines are doubled for going above the speed limit in a work zone.
