EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Beginning on Monday, there will be northbound lane closures on the Bronx River Parkway as work continues on the Crane Road Bridge Replacement Project.

There will be northbound lane closures on the Bronx River Parkway.

There will be northbound lane closures on the Bronx River Parkway.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, there will be limited access to the northbound Bronx River Parkway from the Sprain Brook Parkway from Yonkers to the Westchester County Center (exit 22) in White Plains.

All northbound traffic in Yonkers will not have access to the Bronx River Parkway, with a detour taking motorists onto the Sprain Brook Parkway to Central Park Avenue. There will be local access to the Bronx River Parkway at Paxton Avenue, Elm Street, Thompson Street and Leewood Drive. The parkway will be open to traffic north of Crane Road.

The closures are necessary for micro pile installation adjacent to northbound lanes as work continues on the $39.4 million project to replace the deteriorated Crane Road Bridge on the Bronx River Parkway.
