Rose Camillone, 94, Longtime Eastchester Resident

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Rose Camillone, a longtime Eastchester resident, died May 13 in New Rochelle. She was 94.

Born Sept. 1, 1917, Camillone lived most of her life in Eastchester. She and her late husband, Nick, established Nick's Electrical Service in Eastchester. Camillone worked there as a secretary and bookkeeper until she retired in 2002.

She attended Christian Apostolic Church in Tuckahoe and later, Ridgeway Alliance Church in White Plains. Camillone was always vocal about her faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary (Francis) Napolitano and Teresa (Alfred) Fiorello; a son, Nick (Nancy) Camillone Jr.; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Her husband predeceased her in 1985.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ridgeway Alliance Church. Burial will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery in New Rochelle.
