George Wolfe’s "The Colored Museum" will be performed on Thursday, Nov. 20, Friday, Nov. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 22 in the Frances Ann Cannon Theatre.
"The Colored Museum" highlights the issue of race in America through satire and black humor. In a series of 11 “exhibits,” "The Colored Museum" tells the story of a glamorous black couple, Mammy, Aunt Ethel, a deranged African-American soldier, transgendered Miss Roj and more.
Performances of "Peer Gynt" will take place on Thursday, Dec. 11, Friday, Dec. 12, and Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Suzanne Werner Wright Theatre.
