You may recognize some of the Westport locales mentioned in Jane Green's new book, "The Sunshine Sisters."
The novel tells the story of three sisters who come back to their Fairfield County childhood home when their estranged mother -- who lives at Compo Beach -- is diagnosed with a terminal illness.
It's a story rife with old jealousies, secret fears, and family ties.
And, in usual Green-style, The New York Times best-selling author weaves in a variety of Connecticut landmarks, from Spic and Span in Southport, to Bartaco in Westport as well as other area spots. (Green lives in Westport.)
The book is officially out on Tuesday, June 6. To celebrate, the mom of five will speak at the Eastchester Barnes & Noble at 7 p.m. with New Rochelle blogger and public relations whiz Beth Feldman of RoleMommy.com.
