The MJ Territo Jazz Quartet will present a mix of jazz standards and original compositions, with MJ Territo on vocals, Victor LaGamma on piano, Lee Marvin on bass and Jon Doty on drums.

Each year on April 30, International Jazz Day, an initiative of UNESCO, brings together communities, schools, artists, historians, academics, and jazz enthusiasts all over the world to celebrate and learn about jazz and its roots, and to recognize the importance of this international art form in promoting peace, dialogue among cultures, and freedom of expression.

“I am thrilled to be part of this exciting international celebration again, especially so close to home. And I’m grateful to An American Bistro for its continued commitment to jazz. It’s a privilege to bring America’s indigenous art form to a restaurant devoted to the fine art of American cooking,” said Territo, a Yonkers resident.

An American Bistro is at 296 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.
