HRVW, an annual Westchester County rite for foodies in the Tri-State area, kicks off today, and lasts through Sunday, Nov. 16, featuring prix fixe, three-course lunches for $20.95 and dinners for $29.95 (beverage, tax and tip not included).
Locally, several restaurants are preparing for HVRW. In Eastchester, Toscana will be offering its traditional Italian food and wine, while an American Bistro in Tuckahoe will feature more modern treats.
In Bronxville, Rosie’s Bistro Italiano will have everything from pasta picone to breaded veal tenderloins. Sammy’s Downtown Bar and Bistro will also be participating, including a menu that features diver scallops over an angelhair pancake and Italian classics such as chicken cacciatore.
