Concordia College Dedicates New Campus Center, Garden

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Concordia College in Bronxville dedicated its new campus center and garden on Oct. 30.

College President Viji George dedicated the new food court featuring barista-style coffee stations and an expanded seating area, an enhanced game room for students, a redesigned campus store, a spacious lounge with large LED screens, new study lounges and a redesigned garden in the outdoor courtyard. 

Special guests included state Sen. George Latimer, Bronxville Mayor Mary Marvin, Tuckahoe Mayor Steve Ecklond, former Concordia College executive Eloise Morgan, Atlantic District President Rev. Derek G. Lecakes, architect Peter Gisolfi, the Concordia College Board of Regents and Student Government Association President Paige Corkins. 

The new garden in the Campus Center courtyard was dedicated to Morgan and has been named “Eloise’s Garden” in honor of her many contributions to the college.
