The 18-year-old singer is just one of the endless sources of entertainment that will be provided to residents of all ages, beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 21 at Lake Isle Country Club.
Isabella has toured the country performing, has headlined a pair of pre-Grammy parties and was the opening act for Reba McEntire and Lonestar at the Wembley Arena in London, making her the youngest artist to appear at the famed venue.
She has cited Westchester as an important influence in her career, stemming back to her childhood when she would listen to Frank Sinatra with her father in the car.
“My friends live all around the county, and most of my songs are based on our everyday lives,” she said. “Everything that I’ve experienced around here with them, my family, boys goes into the songs.”
The country star – who is on tour this summer – will be on stage from 4:30 to 6 p.m., but she is hardly the only attraction. The day will kick off at 8 a.m. at the Shotgun Golf Outing at the club, which will feature prizes for the longest drive off the 12th tee, a closest to the pin on the course’s five par 3 holes and a hole-in-one competition.
Following the golf outing, there will be a family picnic on the driving range, catered by Mulino’s at Lake Isle, with a series of live music and other performances.
Bookends Band will be on stage from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., followed by story time, where Jonathan Kruk, a “master storyteller” will retell some of the history of Eastchester, while adorned in historic garb.
For children, there will be face painting and balloon animals, as well as pony rides. The 2nd New York Regiment Brigade of the American Revolution will have a camp demonstration, marching, drills and musket firings, and there will be a tennis exhibition at the Sportime Tennis facility.
