Route 6 Stretch Near Bear Mountain Bridge Reopens

A stretch of eastbound Route 6 in Cortlandt has reopened on Wednesday morning following a motor-vehicle crash that resulted in its closure.

The closure, which occurred just before 9 a.m. is between the Bear Mountain Bridge and Route 9 with traffic backed up to Route 202/9W. Injuries were reported.

The roadway reopened by 10 a.m.
