Lane Closures Scheduled For Day, Night On Taconic State Parkway

Motorists planning on traveling on the Taconic State Parkway through Yorktown this week can expect delays as crews complete construction work in the area.

Southbound lanes of the parkway, between Underhill Avenue and the Croton Reservoir Bridge in Yorktown will be temporarily closed on Thursday and Friday so crews can perform construction activities.

There will be single lane closures during the day from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. and from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will then be double lane closures overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Delays are expected.

Motorists have been asked to exercise caution in the work area and to follow all signage and traffic control devices.
