Incidents On Taconic, Saw Mill, Route 6 Cause Delys

Several incidents on area roadways caused delays just as the evening commute started on Tuesday afternoon.

A serious crash involving an overturned auto initially blocked the right lane on the northbound Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown Heights.

The incident, reported at 4:30 p.m., was just north of Baldwin Road. Delays continued after the lane was cleared.

Farther south, a disabled vehicle had been blocking the right lane on the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway at Manville Road (Exit 29) in Pleasantville in an incident reported at 4:30 p.m.

The were also delays on the Saw Mill farther north at Croton Avenue (Exit 34) in Mount Kisco, after a crash that took out the right shoulder.

A crash on eastbound Route 6 in Mohegan Lake at Lexington Avenue was reported at 4:20 p.m.
