Kisco's Carol Gillian Barnes, 78, Loved To Sketch The Nature Around Her Carol Gillian Barnes—beloved sister, caring aunt, and gifted artist whose sweet and gentle presence graced those around her—died on January 10, 2022. She was 78 years old. Carol was born on July 27, 1943 on the island of Kauai, then a United States territory. Her early years were idyllic, living amid lush gardens, swimming at the beach down the street, sliding down moss-covered rocks into waterfall pools, and riding horses. She was 80.
