Sexual Abuse Of 3-Year-Old Lands Hudson Valley Man In Prison For 20 Years A Hudson Valley man has been sentenced to prison for the sexual abuse of a 3-year-old child and photographing the horrific crimes. Ulster County resident Benjamin Santiago, age 28, of Saugerties, was sentenced by Judge Bryan Rounds in Ulster County Court to 20 years to life on Monday, March 20. The sentence comes after a June 2022 conviction of predatory sexual abuse against a child, following an investigation by the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center of Santiago’s crimes. Ex-Owner Of Hudson Valley Restaurants Accused Of Raping Minor A former restaurateur who owned a pair eateries in the Hudson Valley is facing charges for allegedly raping a minor. An Ulster County grand jury charged Robert Bruno, 58, of Newburgh, in a seven-count indictment for allegedly repeatedly sexually abusing at least one minor, the DA’s Office announced. It is unclear how many victims he had. Specifically, Bruno is charged with three counts of second-degree rape, and two counts each of third-degree rape and second-degree criminal sexual act. Joshua Imboli of Poughkeepsie was arrested on Thursday, March 21, following an investigation by the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center, said the Ulster County District Attorney's Office. Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing 13-Year-Old For Three Years A 36-year-old Hudson Valley man has been charged with allegedly sexually abusing a child over the course of three years. Ulrich Arlt of Walden in Orange County, was arrested following an investigation by the center that he was sexually abusing a 13-year-old New Paltz child, the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center said. The investigation revealed that Arlt sexually abused the child repeatedly over the course of approximately three years, the center said.
