Man Nabbed For Making, Selling Guns From Home In Area, Authorities Say A Hudson Valley man has been arrested following a months-long investigation into the alleged manufacture, sale, and possession of illegal firearms. According to Putnam  County Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr., during the month of November, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit made a total of nine arrests. The arrests include:  Four arrests for possession of heroin.  Four arrests resulted in the seizure of 500 Xanax tablets and concentrated cannabis. The incident happened around 7:38 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 in Mahopac. Due to the injuries and the mechanism of injury, the Putnam County sheriff's deputy was transported to Danbury Hospital by the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department’s Ambulance where it was determined that the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, Putnam County Sheriff Robert L.
