Hudson Valley Man Charged With 'Savage' Beating Death Of 3-Year-Old Boy
A Hudson Valley man has been charged with murder and manslaughter for the death of a 3-year-old boy. Orange County resident Gionni Sellers, age 23, of Middletown, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 16, and indicted on Friday, Dec. 23, for what authorities call a "savage" attack on Xavier Johnson of Wallkill. During a press conference on Tuesday, Dec. 27, Wallkill Police Chief Robert Hertman and Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler said the attack was "catastrophic" and included blunt force trauma to the brain and massive internal bleeding allegedly caused by a severe beating. Hudson Valley Man Charged In Stabbing Death Of 52-Year-Old In Garage, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man has been charged in the stabbing death of a 52-year-old found dead in a detached garage of his home. Orange County resident Damante Troy Stansberry, age 23, of Middletown, was arrested around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 1 for the Sunday, Oct. 30 death of Jeffrey Harris, of Wallkill. Investigation Launched After Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting In Hudson Valley
An investigation is underway after a fatal officer-involved shooting in the Hudson Valley. It happened around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 12 in Orange County, in the Town of Wallkill. Officers responded to a reported dispute on Schutt Road and Avenue A.
