Owl Crashes Through Window Of Kitchen In Northern Westchester A Westchester homeowner was not having a hoot this week when an owl came crashing through her kitchen window, sending glass flying. Police said that officers responded to a Pines Bridge Road home in Bedford, when they received a call that a barred owl had made a crash landing in a kitchen sink. The responding officers were able to safely remove the owl from the glass-filled sink and released it back into the wild through the same window he crashed through without further incident.
