Person Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Peekskill A person was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Northern Westchester.  The incident happened on Monday, Feb. 13 around 3:15 p.m., when police in Peekskill responded to the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Depew Street, where a car had hit the pedestrian, Lieutenant Adam Renwick said.  The pedestrian was then taken to Westchester Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the vehicle was issued multiple tickets following the incident, Renwick said.  Members of the local community organization Peekskill Walks commented on the incide…

Man Killed While Walking Along Roadway In Northern Westchester A 78-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while he was walking on a roadway in Northern Westchester. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 29, when William O’Connor was walking in the area of Washington and Requa streets, said Peekskill Police Lt. Jack Galusha. O'Connor, of Peekskill, reportedly suffered a serious head wound and was unresponsive when police arrived on the scene.  He was rushed to Westchester Medical Center where he died several hours later, Galusha said.
