High Driver From Westchester Nabbed After Crashing: Admits Smoking Marijuana, Police Say A Westchester man faces charges after crashing his car in Fairfield County while allegedly high on marijuana, police said.  The arrest stemmed from an incident that happened in Darien on Tuesday, June 20 around 11:15 p.m., when police responded to the area of Post Road (US Route 1) and Nearwater Lane on a report of a crash, according to Sergeant Dan Skoumbros.  Once they arrived at the scene, officers identified the driver as 24-year-old Yonkers resident Jordan Lawrence, Jr., who told them that he must have fallen asleep while driving.  After smelling the odor of b…

Greenwich Police were patrolling the area of Greenwich Avenue on Friday, April 26 around 9 p.m. Around this time, police say an anonymous subject allegedly submitted a report of a red pickup truck traveling the wrong way on Greenwich Avenue. Greenwich Police say they responded to the area of Merritt Parkway northbound near exit 29 (Lave Avenue) on a report of a driver slumped over the wheel on the side of the road on Sunday, April 7 around 11:45 p.m. Officers say they located a silver Honda with heavy front end damage traveling south on Lake Avenue near Old Mill Road. Drunk Westchester Motorist, 36, Crashes Into Wall, Flees Scene, Police Say A Westchester man was arrested after allegedly crashing a vehicle into a brick wall and then fleeing the scene. Juan Gonzalez, 36, of Yonkers, was arrested around 4:25 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 after Greenwich Police responded to the area of 122 Round Hill Road for a report that a vehicle had crashed into a brick wall, said the Greenwich Police. When officers arrived on the scene they found the vehicle had left the scene but was found in a driveway on Round Hill Road, police said. A further investigation found that Gonzalez had red, glassy eyes, and smelled of alcohol,  police said.…
