25-Year-Old Found Dead At Area Shopping Plaza A 25-year-old man was found dead after police received a "man down" call at an area shopping plaza. The incident took place around 8:44 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, when 911 dispatchers received a call for a report of a man down on the ground at the Oakridge Plaza, at 960 Violet Ave., in Hyde Park, said Hyde Park Police Chief Robert Benson. When officers arrived on the scene they found the man unconscious and not breathing, Benson said. The man was lying in the corner of the parking lot and was dead, he added.
