Area Man Charged With Stiffing Client $1,100
This story has been updated.An area man was nabbed for taking money to perform flooring work and then never doing the job, according to the Carmel Police Department.
Martin Dyckman, 46, of Poughkeepsie, was recently arrested by Carmel Police following an investigation into a larceny, police said.
According to the investigation, Dyckman, under the company MJD Flooring, accepted $1,100 to do flooring work but never returned to do the work and refused to answer the client’s phone calls, police said.
