Manuel Cochancela, 36, was arrested on Tuesday around 2:15 p.m. after a Yorktown police officer watched as he turned his red Ford truck erratically from Lee Road and collided with another vehicle on westbound Route 6, Yorktown Police said. Man Charged With Stealing $1,100 From Macy's In Yorktown A 29-year-old Westchester man is behind bars after being caught by police at a gas station in Yorktown after allegedly being involved in a scheme to steal more than $1,100 in merchandise from a Macy’s store. Shortly before 8 p.m. on Jan. 24, officers from the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to Macy’s on Lee Road, where there was a claim of shoplifters at the location involving three suspects.
