Women Who Stole Credit Cards From Cars Made Purchases In Four Counties, Authorities Say Two women are facing felony larceny charges following a string of larcenies in Putnam County in which authorities say stolen credits were used to make purchases in four neighboring counties. The larcenies occurred in the towns of Philipstown, Putnam Valley and Kent, Putnam County Sheriff, Robert L. Langley Jr. said. During the past three weeks, the sheriff’s department, along with the New York State Park Police, received several complaints from hikers who, upon returning to their parked cars, discovered the cars had been rummaged through and personal items were stolen from within. …
