Good Samaritan Nabs Suspect During Strong-Arm Robbery A man was grabbed by a Good Samaritan and held for police after he was seen attacking a woman during a strong-arm robbery. The incident took place around 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, in the area of Innis Avenue and Delaval Place, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Ken Roman. Town Of Poughkeepsie Police: Man Trying To Escape Capture Almost Hits Cop A Red Hook man is behind bars after trying to run down a Town of Poughkeepsie police officer who had stopped to investigate a vehicle, according to Town of Poughkeepsie Police. Stewart A. Klein, 30, was originally approached around 6 p.m. Monday when an officer approached his red Chevy S10 pickup truck parked in the area of Innis Avenue, police said. When the officer approached, Klein put the car into reverse and almost hit the officer, said Town of Poughkeepsie Capt.
