Good Samaritan Nabs Suspect During Strong-Arm Robbery A man was grabbed by a Good Samaritan and held for police after he was seen attacking a woman during a strong-arm robbery. The incident took place around 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, in the area of Innis Avenue and Delaval Place, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Ken Roman. Town Of Poughkeepsie Police: Man Trying To Escape Capture Almost Hits Cop A Red Hook man is behind bars after trying to run down a Town of Poughkeepsie police officer who had stopped to investigate a vehicle, according to Town of Poughkeepsie Police. Stewart A. Klein, 30, was originally approached around 6 p.m. Monday when an officer approached his red Chevy S10 pickup truck parked in the area of Innis Avenue, police said.
