Drunk Driver From Cortlandt Manor Crashes Into Embankment, Flips Car: Police A 55-year-old man faces drunk driving charges after crashing his vehicle into an embankment, overturning, and hitting a utility pole in Northern Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Thursday, Sept. 21 around 1:40 a.m., when Yorktown Police responded to a crash on Route 118 in the area of Birdsall Drive, according to the department.
