Man Accused Of Stealing $1.7K After Breaking Into Car In Yorktown A 34-year-old man is facing charges after police say he broke into a car in Northern Westchester and stole approximately $1,700. Yorktown Police responded to the parking lot of 3535 Hill Boulevard in Yorktown on Tuesday, March 12 to investigate a broken car window and an incidence of theft. Further investigation by Yorktown Police Department Detectives led to the identification and arrest of a suspect, Juan Moreno of Flushing, on Monday, March 25 around 6 p.m. Moreno allegedly followed the victim from a nearby bank and broke a window to enter his vehicle when the victim entered a building.…

Man Caught With Nearly 4 Pounds Of Pot In Westchester Traffic Stop Faces Felony Charge A 31-year-old man from faces felony charges after being caught with almost four pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in Westchester, police say. The incident occurred before midnight Sunday, Nov. 25 on I-87 in Ardsley. State Police stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation. The troopers' interview with the driver gave them probable cause to perform a search of the vehicle’s interior and its occupants.
