Casandra Honovich had a day to remember Saturday for the Manhattanville womens lacrosse team.
The sophomore and former Lakeland/Panas standout scored 10 goals, surpassing 100 for her Manhattanville career, in a 23-13 win over host Misericordia in a womens lacrosse game.
Honovich, a Walter Panas graduate who entered the game with 99 career goals, became the first Manhattanville womens lacrosse player to score 100 goals in her first two seasons. She also evened a program-record with 10 goals in a game. Honovich now has 50 goals on the season. Last year, she scored 59.
Britney Themistocles added five goals and two assists and goalie Emy Cote had a big first half, stopping 13 shots.
