North Salem Boys Bowl Over Panas, Girls Get Pinned

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - The North Salem boys bowling team shut out Walter Panas 7-0 at Cortlandt Lanes Thursday.

In the three-game matchup, North Salem racked up 2,709 total pins to the Panthers' 2,448.

Derek Netsch had the high game for North Salem with a 234, while Stephen Cuzzi rolled a 225. Jeremy Kinner had the high series for the victors with a 600. Netsch tallied 560.

Panas' Viddy D'Addona led all bowlers with a 254 game and a 631 series.

In girls' action, the fortunes were reversed as Panas shut out North Salem 7-0, also at Cortlandt Lanes.

The Panthers totaled 2,148 pins to North Salem's 1,959.

Angela DiRenno had a 176 game and a 461 series for Panas, while Christina Stoll recorded a 175 game and a 484 series.

North Salem was led by Kate Hlushko with a 166 game and a 459 series.
