Former Hen Hud Players Help Nazareth Win Conference Title

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several former Westchester varsity lacrosse standouts, including three former Hendrick Hudson High School standouts, helped the Nazareth College men's lacrosse team win the Empire 8 Conference title game Saturday and earn a bid to the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

Former Lakeland/Panas star Will Fallo, former New Rochelle standout Luke Wooters and the trio of former Hen Hud Sailors -- Kyle Fanning, Matt McDermott and AJ Small -- all play for Nazareth, which held off Ithaca 9-8 to claim its ninth Empire 8 Conference title in a game played at at Golden Flyer Stadium in Rochester.

Fallo had three goals vs. Ithaca. Wooters scored twice. McDermott had one goal.
