Cortlandt National Advances In Baseball Tournament

PATTERSON, N.Y. -- Jack Kelly doubled twice and also tripled, leading Cortlandt National to a 6-1 win over Bedford Hills on Thursday, in a loser’s bracket game in the District 33 Little League Baseball 11-year-old Championship.

Cortlandt National will play Croton, 6 p.m., Friday at Patterson Little League. The winner moves on while the losing team will be eliminated.

Nick Caruso and Ryoji Schwartz each added two hits. Thomas Pecchia threw five innings and had three strikeouts and Liam McHale struck out the side in the sixth.
