Cortlandt Little League Hosts Championships

CORTLANDT, N.Y. — The Cortlandt American Little League plays its annual Championship and All-Star games Saturday and Sunday at St. Columbanus Church Field with a full schedule of games each day.

The Cortlandt American Little League (CALL), which includes more than 400 boys and girls ages 4-14, will play its age division championship games beginning with the AA Division for 7- and 8-year-old players at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The games run through the afternoon, ending with the Major League championship game (players 10 to 12 years old) at 4 p.m.

Sunday's All-Star Games begin at 1:30 p.m. with the AA Division game and run through the 5:30 p.m. Majors All-Star game.

CALL has been a fixture in the Cortlandt community for more than 50 years and is run completely by volunteers. Admission to all games is free, and there will be a full concession stand with hot dogs, hamburgers, steak sandwiches, pretzels, candy and drinks for sale.
