Avalanche Score Another Tournament Win

The Avalanche team of Elmsford's Frozen Ropes Baseball Academy won the Richards Tournament held at Andrus Field in Yonkers this past weekend. The team beat the Hawks of Mt. Pleasant twice, The Woodlawn 10 and Under team from Woodlawn and McLean Ave. in the Bronx, The Tuckahoe Youth Association and the Pelham 10 and Under team for the championship. The team is playing this weekend in Woodcliff, N.J. in a Fourth of July tournament as a tune-up for the Summer Nationals being held in Myrtle Beach, S.C. from July 15 through July 21. The team is currently 22 – 8 and riding an eight game winning streak. Has your child's team accomplished something great on or off the field? Let us know!
