Lakeland Students Place High in Science Fair

SHRUB OAK, N.Y. — Students in the Lakeland Central School District secured second and fourth place in the Westchester Engineering and Science Fair.

More than 300 students from the surrounding areas took part in the competition on March 10.

Lakeland’s Sam Nadell took second place in Earth Science and received the American Meteorological Association award. Tyler Cohen took fourth place in Physics and Astronomy.

Michael Perrone received the RICOH award and the Intel Computer Science Award. Walter Panas’ Troy Hugick received the American Meteorological Association Award.
