Croton-on-Hudson Police Detective Paul Camillieri and Officer T.J. Leonard made sure to visit every class to remind children that safety should be their first priority.

Police asked them never to go into anyone's house, look when crossing the street and have parents inspect candy. Each student got Halloween coloring placemat, a safety bookmark that read “Be smart, be seen, have a safe Halloween,” and a glow-in-the-dark canvas bag for trick-or-treating.
