CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Members of the Croton-Harmon High School community recently attended a Wellness Night.
The event, which was Jan. 13, included students, parents, and staff members. Dr. Kristy Vanacore and health coach Elissa Holzman were the guest speakers.
“Dr. Vanacore spoke about the teenage brain and stress,” health teacher Kerri Tracy said in a press release. “Ms. Holzman gave a great talk on ‘The Not-So-Sweet Truth About Sugar.’”
“Afterward, everyone got to create a healthy wrap filled with hummus and fresh vegetables.”
“The night was excellent.”
