Croton Booster Club Golfs to Fundraise

Athletic programs in the Croton-Harmon School District will get some extra fan support Monday when the Croton Booster Club holds its biggest fundraiser of the year.

The club last year raised approximately $6,000 according to “worker bee” booster club member Nancy Squire. This year it will try to raise money for school athletics at its golf tournament, being held at the Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor.

The money raised by the Booster Club has gone towards scoreboards in the gym and on Spencer Field for the football team. It also raised $4,000 in scholarships, which will be given away to seven different athletes during Croton’s annual Senior Awards Ceremony June 22.

For more information about the tournament, call Squire at (914) 271-6851.
