Village Of Croton Readies For Democratic Primary

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Village of Croton will hold a rare three-way Democratic primary Thursday, Sept. 13, during its first fall village election.

In the race for Croton Board of Trustees, the Croton Democratic Committee has endorsed candidates Andy Levitt and incumbent Ann Galllelli for office. Kevin Davis is independently seeking the Democratic nomination. Read more about their positions on the issues by clicking on the above links.

The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Because the village election was moved from March to November to line up with state and national elections, information about village elections should now be solicited from the Westchester County Board of Elections. Live, unofficial results should be available online after the polls close.

The Village of Croton will hold its first fall general election in November. The Croton Republican Committee announced in July, it will not endorse candidates for the upcoming election. No independent candidates have come forward. The sole Republican-backed member of the Croton Board of Trustees, Greg Schmidt, announced in May he is not seeking re-election.

Voters may look up their polling place below, or may use the Westchester County Board of Elections polling place locator tool.
