Elections for two seats on the Board of Trustees and for mayor will be held in November. Mayor Leo Wiegman and Trustee Casey Raskob have already informed the committee they will run for re-election this November.

However, Trustee Ian Murtaugh has chosen to step away after four years on the board due to his increasing work demands in New York City.

The committee will appoint a nominating committee to interview potential candidates and will make recommendations to the full committee. The committee will endorse a slate of candidates within the next couple of months, most likely at the regular meeting to be held May 9.

The committee is asking those interested in running for office on the Democratic Party Line to contact it by email at info@crotondems.org by April 15.
