State Police: Robbery At Chase Bank In Cortlandt Town Center

MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. -- A "substantial amount of cash" was taken in an armed robbery Wednesday morning at the Cortlandt Town Center, state police said.

The robbery occurred around 9 a.m. Wednesday in the JP Morgan Chase at the A&P Supermarket in the Cortlandt Town Center in Mohegan Lake, Cortlandt State Police said. Authorities were on scene continuing the investigation at 10:30 a.m. A representative with state police said there is a suspect in the robbery and "a substantial amount of cash" was taken from the scene and that details would be released later.
