Police Pursue Suspects In Verplanck Italian-American Club Burglary

VERPLANCK, N.Y. -- State police are attempting to identify two male suspects pictured above who are wanted for questioning in the burglary of a non-profit organization in Verplanck.

The men allegedly forcibly entered Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society, which is located at 155 Highland Ave. in Verplanck, at 5 a.m. Saturday, police said.

While inside, the suspects stole an undetermined amount of money and several cans of beer from the non-profit Italian-American club, according to police.

The men were wearing hooded sweatshirts that had distinct patterns and used a backpack that had an elaborate design, according to police.
