The fire started at 5:09 p.m. at the back of the building and extended up a a back wall according to Deputy Chief John Pappas. Pappas said there was minor smoke damage inside but the fire caused little damage.
"Most of the damage was confined to the outside wall and staircase on the 2nd floor," Pappas said.
